A Year Younger Not Older

This month I celebrated my 32nd birthday. For my gift, the boys and our families gave me my own iPod. Nowadays, you can find me listening to my iPod, blogging, and playing on Facebook. My teeny-bopper soul has been revived!

Date Night with Mommy

Greg and I decided a couple months ago to have date nights with the kids. This month, Landon and I had a date. We had such a great time eating dinner together at Za's, doing a little shoe shopping, and then heading to Workshop Theatre's production of High School Musical. It was GREAT!!! I think I was more excited about the show than Landon. We are a High School Musical fan family!

Summer Vacation

We had a great time a couple weeks ago at Litchfield. This trip reminded me that my boys are growing up quickly. We no longer had to pack swim diapers, no Pack 'n Play, no nap schedules to keep, nobody afraid to get too sandy, nobody afraid to go underwater. It's sad to see them move forward, but a blessing as well. The boys rode waves, "body surfed," swam with no swimmies!, and it was a great time for our family to be together. The boys decided that we will vacation every year at Litchfield. Sounds good to me. I love the beach!

Summer Days

We have spent most of our weekends at the lake this summer. The kids have had such a good time swimming, fishing, and riding on the tube behind the boat. For the 4th, we grilled out, the kids (and Daddy) swam, and then we shot our array of fireworks.
