Well, we are just getting home from our first vacation as a family of six. This year we decided to change the pace of our vacation and we headed to Edisto Beach for a laid back week at the beach. Of course, I had very idealized thoughts of what I week would become. Even though things did not work out just the way I thought, we had a great time.
The boys enjoyed riding the waves on their boogie boards, taking bike rides on the island, shrimping and crabbing with friends at their grandparents' house, looking for shells and of course constructing sandcastles. Also, some of our of friends were at the beach at the same time and our boys enjoyed playing on the beach together.
On our final day on the beach, Greg decided to let the boys fish from the surf. After just a couple of casts, Camden reeled in a baby shark! Next up, Landon reeled in a good sized blue fish. Camden ended the time out with another blue fish. Catching their fish (and shark) was the highlight of the trip for both boys.
