Rainbow After the Storm

This last year of our lives has been the most trying year we have had. However, God has been so faithful. Tonight, while reading today's devotional in Streams in the Desert, I was so encouraged. Even though this has been a hard year, my faith in Christ is so much stronger and more real than ever before. George Mueller wrote, "The only way to know strong faith is to endure great trials. I have learned my faith by standing firm through severe testing."

The brightest banner of the skies floats not
At noonday warm;
The rainbow follows after thunderclouds,
And after storm.

I am so grateful that God brings the rainbow out from the storm.
