The boys have been all about baseball this year, both playing ball this spring. They faithfully followed USC to their National Championship victory and then continued the baseball wave cheering on the Atlanta Braves. All summer, we wanted to take a road trip to Atlanta but a weekend trip with all six was not real feasible.
Really wanting to get the boys to a Braves game, Greg decided to plan a 'Boys Weekend.' They are just getting in from their roadtrip and had a great time. They cheered the Braves on to a victory today, which happened to be Kids Day.
With the boys away, the girls and I had our own weekend as well. Since my brother is getting married this winter, we went to the bridal shop for dress fittings, out to lunch and then retreated to my parents house. I think we will conclude this weekend declaring it the first annual boys weekend = girls weekend. I foresee an American Girl store roadtrip five years from now.
